How to Use
For cuts wounds or insect bites:
Dilute one teaspoon (12.5ml) of Dettol Antiseptic Liquid in 250ml water.
More ways to use this product…
Dilute two teaspoons (25ml) of Dettol Antiseptic Liquid with 1 litre water to disinfect floors and furniture.
Dilute two teaspoon (25ml) Dettol Antiseptic Liquid with 1 litre water for disinfecting children’s clothes.
Dilute two teaspoon (25ml) Dettol Antiseptic Liquid with 5 litre water for bathing.
Safety Instructions
Not for ingestion, for external use only.
Keep all the medicine out of children’s reach.
Avoid direct contact with eyes. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water. If persistent irritation occurs get medical attention.

How does Dettol work?
The active ingredient - Chloroxylenol - is an antiseptic and disinfectant.
Can I use Dettol on open wounds?
Though Dettol Antiseptic Liquid Original can indeed be used on wounds, dilute the formulation before applying. However, for best results we recommend the Dettol Wound Wash - a special formulation designed to clean cuts, gashes and lesions.
Is Dettol Antiseptic antibacterial?
Absolutely. Dettol Liquid Original is an antibacterial product that can be used on skin.
